1. All she wants for Christmas • I’m much energized to be here to speak about my first full-length modern romance, Sleigh Bells in the Snow. I’ve been write 65 books for Harlequin Presents and Harlequin Medical Romance and I’ve wanted to write a longer story for a while so I was delighted when HQN granted me that opportunity. I love Christmas and I adorechristmas giftto build up to Christmas. I love the cold weather of December, watching the berries on my holly turn a deep red and waking up every morning to a carpet of frost dazzling on my lawn. But for some people, this is a hard time of year and that’s the case for Kayla Green, my heroine in Sleigh Bells. • All Kayla always wants to escape for Christmas. She desires to be left from Manhattan with its huge Christmas tree and decorations in every window and just lay on the ground herself in work until it’s all ended. So when businessman Jackson O’Neil invites her to spend a week at his family’s resort in Vermont, she accepts thinking it will be an ideal reason to hide from the humanity. The resort is in deep nuisance and she’s the one with the skills to help. Tough, Jackson is strong-minded to save the place that has been home to his family for four generations and he needs Kayla’s assist to do it. What can probably go wrong? • Kayla is a city girl used to a life of workaholic and no play. Suddenly she’s living in a snowy forest surrounded by the thing that terrifies her family. Not only that, the relationship between her and Jackson is off the level and soon the duo of them are dealing with more than balance sheets and deep snow. They’re dealing with feelings, emotions, and Jackson’s big interfering family. All they wish for Christmas is a happy ever after and they’ll stop at nothing to see it turn out. I loved writing this story so much. Sleigh Bells in the Snow is the original of a series of three books about the O’Neil Brothers.
