  4. Digital Accounts ProgressBook Viking Mail Can be accessed via the mobile app. All students have been provided an account. Students are encouraged to email teachers on a regular basis. Will be used to digitally store files and presentations in the cloud, as there are no student digital storage files on the school’s network. • Can be accessed via the mobile app • Students must create their own account with REGISTRATION KEY. • Once created, the school no longer has access. • Students should be checking daily / weekly. • Grades should be updated every 2 weeks. • Students are expected to take charge of monitoring your academic progress in each class.

  7. Policies Tuesdays

  8. Dress Code Basics • No Leggings, Jeggings, Spandex, Yoga Pants • Appropriate covering of the appropriate length • Dresses & Skirts • Appropriate Length • Holes or Rips in Jeans • No Holes or Rips in any garment

  9. Pants • Jeans and other pants may NOThave rips, tears or holes. This includes wearing spandex or leggings underneath of the jeans to cover up the skin. No skin should be revealed. • Spandex, leggings or jeggings cannot be worn unless they are accompanied by a skirt, shorts or dress of the appropriate length.

  10. Skirts, Dresses, Shorts, Skorts • Skirts that are of spandex material may be worn as long as it is at the KNEE or BELOW. • Skirts and dresses must be within 3-inches of the bend in the back of the knee. This can best be determined by using a 3 x 5 inch index card, and holding it against the bend in the back of the knee. • Shorts and skorts must be within 5-inches of the bend in the back of the knee.

  11. ID Badges • Needs to be on a Princeton issued Lanyard • Must be worn visibly around the student’s neck • Not to be carried or in bag/purse • Needed at all times • Consequences are same as Dress Code

  12. Electronic Devices • NO earbuds in the hallways • Acceptable Usage Times: • Before School • Lunch (only in café, not in hallways) • After School • During Lessons as directed by any staff member.

  14. SLANT • Sit up straight • Lean forward & listen • Answer & Ask questions • Note key information; Nod in agreement/disagreement • Track the speaker

Engagement & Homework • 100% Engagement: • Students will be attentive and interactive throughout the entire length of the lesson • Both teachers & students will work from the beginning of the bell until the end of the bell. • Homework: • Increases student achievement • Reinforces what is taught in the classroom • Supports classroom learning • Assigned 2-4 nights a week • Up to 30 minutes in length

  16. Voice Levels • Level 0: Silent • When classroom instruction is taking place • Level 1: 12 Inch Voices • During hallway conversations • Level 2: Presentation Voice • Asking a question during class • Presentations • Group Work

  19. Tier 2 & 3 Offenses • Offenses that are handled with immediate removal from PHS: • Weapons • Near Fight or Fight • Sexual Harassment • Bullying • Theft • Chronic Behavior Problems

  21. Teacher / Classroom • Individual Classroom: • Teacher directed incentives for the classroom (individual teacher) • All students should be provided the opportunity to earn incentives in every class. • Can be offered to the individual student, and also offered to the entire class.
