  2. Catalyst • Answer the questions on the back of your standards grade report. • Count how many A’s, B’s, C’s, and NP’s you have for the science standards. Estimate your academic grade based on this information. • What standards do you need to improve the most? • What are your work completion (WC) grades? How do these compare to your academic grades? • What group (or groups) of standards are your strongest? (The standards are grouped by number: 5=acids/bases, 6=solutions, 7=thermochem., 8=reaction rates, 9=equilibrium, 10=biochem., 11=nuclear.)

  3. Last chance Benchmark #3 Questions • With a partner, write a question you would like answered before the test. (3 min.) • Share your question with the pair across from you. Do they know the answer? (2 min.) • Class share out: Raise your hand to have the question answered by the whole class. (5 min.)

  5. Make Up Assignments • Use your standards grade sheet to check what standards you should make up. • The make up assignments are posted on the board. • All the homework assignments are also posted. Completing homework will increase your life skills grade and help with CST review.

  6. Benchmark #3 • Expectations: • You will work silently and independently. • When you are done, flip over your test and answer sheet. • Do not write on the test.
