Biography • A book that tells about someone’s life • Usually about someone who does something important • Book written by someone else
Poetry • expressing feelings, thoughts, and moods • not all poems rhyme • has own rhythm
Fables • stories teach a lesson • lesson called proverb • proverb =wise saying
Tall tales • story exaggerated beyond belief • not like normal people • character solve problem in funny way
Autobiography • a story that tells about someone’s life • the someone writes the book • usually written by a famous person
Plays • Written in special form • Can recognize a play by the name • Directions in parentheses
