Lessons from Journey on Change & Risk Change • RLE will provide strong basis for how change happening • Climate change one of criteria in assessments – provide analysis on threats (& so where to focus) • Identify balance between ecosystems & food security – role of healthy ecosystems – integrate natural & agric landscapes Risk • Int. agreement on Risk Criteria & Categories • Much interest in International set of Ecosystem Risk Criteria (press, private sector) • Be of use to DRR (slow onset, risk of disaster) • Integration of IUCN Knowledge products v. important - & to Governance & Nature dependency

Lessons from Journey on Stewardship & Resilience Stewardship • Tool to impartially identify (reward) good stewardship and highlight poor stewardship • Based on risk/threats be a means to idnetify actions to link to stewardship • Will develop linkages to IUCN Governance framework • Will highlight importance of RLE to local people • Potential important influence at macro-economic planning Resilience • Risk/threat analysis will identify key areas where/why resilience is being lost • RLE will identify some of core components of lost resilience
