  1. Proposed investment : IT City (1672.71 acres ) • SAD-BJP Govt. has developed IT City : • To provide better IT facilities • To promote it as IT HUB • To encourage private sector investment. Types of Industrial Plots available: • Scheme for allotment of industrial plots of 500 Sq. Yards and 1000 Sq. Yards in IT City coming shortly. • Option of taking adjacent plot also available.

  2. Progress on Infosys Site Infosys plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore over 50 acres and generate 25,000 jobs for software professionals.

SHAPING THE SOUL OF SOCIETY THROUGH EDUCATION • To shape Punjab into a progressive state SAD-BJP Govt has developed KNOWLEDGE CITY • Knowledge City: Spread over an expanse of approx 400 acres in sector 81 of SAS Nagar, Mohali. • Below mentioned Internationally reputed institutes are already working in this sector • IISER 125 acres • Indian School Of Business 70 acres • Biotechnology Park 74.55 acres • Institute Of Nano Technology 35 acres • NABI 35 acres • Bio Processing unit 15 acres

  4. The new international airport at Mohali offers both domestic and international flights. Area = approximately 305 acres Airport AEROCITY 53400 Square Meter Terminal Capacity 1600 Passengers 4 Aerobridges 48 Check in Counters Parking Bay for 8 aircraft Automated Parking space for 500 vehicles

  5. September 15, 2016: First international flight lands from Sharjah to Mohali and takes off from Mohali to Sharjah on the same day. Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal travels in the flight to Sharjah with a delegation of 40 trade members. September 26, 2016: First international flight to Dubai took off from Chandigarh airport carrying 127 passengers. Airport facilities still basic.
