During my two-month placement with Stirling Council Library Service, I engaged with 16 libraries and 2 mobile libraries, covering a vast area of 850 square miles serving over 85,000 residents. I contributed to the renovation of St. Ninians Library, creating a vibrant teen and children's zone while collaborating with community centers. I assisted in operations, including acquisition and cataloging, along with participation in the “Off the Page” annual book festival featuring authors like Val McDermid. This experience enriched my understanding of library services and community engagement.
