  5. 3 STEPS TO BECOMING A CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER 1> Qualify to take the CDM, CFPP Certification Exam. • Complete a DMA-approved dietary manager training program. • You may already have a two- or four-year degree in foodservice management, nutrition, or culinary arts. • Qualify through a combination of training and experience. • Qualify through your related military training.
