  2. Explanation • Mechanical energy is an energy where anything is moving an example is a hamster spinning a wheel

  3. Example 1 • One example is a moving baseball. It posses mechanical energy due to both its high speed and vertical position above the ground.

  4. Example 2 • Another example of mechanical energy is an arrow flying threw the air it posses mechanical energy due to its speed.

  5. Example 3 • One more example of mechanical energy is moving water such as a river, stream or water fall.
