  1. Blog: Gvision-usa.com INTEGRATING OLDER DEVICES WITH NEWER TECHNOLOGY There are very few scientific and technical inventions that are more marvellous and widely used than the touch screen. Touch-screen devices are everywhere. From mobiles to computer screens to display panels, touch screen technology is now a part of many devices that are related to computing. Technically, a touch screen is an input device normally layered on the top of an electronic visual display of an information processing system. A user can give input or control the information processing system through simple or multi touch gestures by touching the screen with fingers or a specially designed stylus. Touch screens are widely used in many devices and have effectively replaced other input devices like mouse or a touchpad. Modern touch screens are touch sensitive to fingers and an intermediate like a stylus is mostly optional. The main factors in favour of a touch screen are the ease of use and their growing popularity in mobile phones and other portable devices. Most devices, until recently, used other peripheral devices like a mouse and were not manufactured with this technology in mind. But due to growing public demand, replacing these older monitors and LED display units with touch screen display and touch screen panels has become a necessity. Integrating a new touch screen monitor with an older CPU does not need work at the motherboard level. The amazing adaptive elements of this newer technology helps in making this device perform seamlessly with changes to firmware, done by system integrators. Most of the modern day touch screen devices are backward compatible and it is time to invest in touch screen solutions for all your devices.
