  1. Holiday Basketball Tournament

  2. You will be designing the “Holiday Basketball Tournament” flyer • Spelling and grammar is really important in this assignment.

You will be creating three separate documents for this assignment and combining the three into one. • The first step will to be to create your images in Photoshop. • You are required to find four images in Google and combine two into one. So you will have a total of two images made up of two images each. (If you go above and beyond and combine more than two images for each that is ok. • You will not need a full page document for this because that will be too big. • Set up your paper sizes in Photoshop as 4 inches X 4 inches, 300 resolution and RGB color.

  4. Create your images in Photoshop first. Make sure you are thinking about images that go along with the holidays as well as basketball. • Make sure you save the documents as HBT1 and HBT2. This way they are easy to find. Also save both as Photoshop and as a JPEG.

  5. Once you have finished your images in Photoshop you are ready to move onto the flyer itself. • The flyer will be created in Adobe Illustrator. • More information to come….

  6. What Information do you need? • Holiday Basketball Tournament • January 12th-13th • Roosevelt High School’s Fifth Annual Holiday Tournament. • Located at Roosevelt High School, in Johnstown. Team entry fee is $300 which guarantees at least four games. You will then be placed into a single elimination tournament that will take place Sunday. First place will take home championship long sleeved shirts, along with bragging rights. Proceeds will go to the RHS boys’ basketball team. • Tired of watching basketball and not being able to play, now’s your chance! • Contact Neal Finch at 970-590-5324 • Finchneal@gmail.com • I can only take the first 16 teams, so don’t wait!

  7. Make sure everything is done in Adobe Illustrator, except the images are done in Adobe Photoshop!
