  3. Rosalind Franklin & Maurice Wilkins - Rosalind Franklin took the first x-ray image of DNA. Maurice Wilkins sent this photo to his Watson & Crick

  4. James Watson & Francis Crick • In 1953 Watson and Crick created a model of DNA using work from others (Rosalind & Wilkins). • They modeled DNA as a double helix or twisted ladder.

  5. Mutations • Mutations are changes in DNA. • Mutagens are things that cause mistakes or mutations. (Smoking, Radiation, Sunlight)
