  3. John Wilkes Booth childhood… • Born May 10th 1838 and died April 25th 1865 at age 26 • He was the 9th child out of 10 • His parents were never married, his mom Mary Ann Holmes was his fathers mistress

  4. John Wilkes Booth’s Career • He was an actor • He joined the Virginia militia company that was assisted in the capture of John Brown • He was know for his acting, and both the Northern and Southern United States

  5. Who was John Wilkes Booth • We all know Booth for being the guy who assassinated Lincoln, but that’s no the only thing he was known for. • He had theatrical potential at a young age, he also was emotionally instable.

  6. His plan… • He was just going to first abduct him one night • But then he decided he would just be better off killing the man so that’s what he did

  7. He got a couple of his friend or workers or something together and they all had one person they were supposed to go for and do something to • Vice President-Andrew Jackson • Secretary of State-William Steward

  8. Abraham Lincoln • Born February 12th 1809 in Hardin County, Kentucky • He had 4 children and only 1 lived to reach maturity • Married Mary Todd and prominent slave-owning family from Kentucky

  9. When it came to women Lincoln wasn’t a lucky guy • He lost his wife with the typhoid disease • And he was rejected a couple times

  10. Lincoln’s Assassination • He shot Lincoln in the back of the head with a gun while he was watching a play “Our American Cousin” • He didn’t survive and they were going to sue the medical provider because they thought that he might have pushed the bullet in farther causing him to die
