  3. Childhood • John Booth lived on a farm in Bel-Air , Maryland. • Attended Quaker Run Milton boarding school. • Was athletic and popular. • Left school at age 14. • Father died when John was 14.

  4. Young Adulthood • He was a skilled fencer. • John attended Bel-Air Academy. • Left school at age 14. • Fortune teller told him he would die young. • He made his debut at 17.

  5. Adulthood • He supported the south during the civil war. • He killed Abraham Lincoln. • His original plan was to kidnap Abraham Lincoln. • Was secretly engaged to Lucy Hale. • Played Heratio in Hamilate. • Had jet black hair. • He was 5’8’’.

Adulthood • John had terrible stage fright. • He was on the run for 12 days. • John was shot by Boston Corbet. • His dying words were “Useless” as he held his hands up. • John Wilkes Booth was born on April 26,1865. • As he was escaping the crime scene jumping onto the stage he broke his leg. • John asked for help with killing the president.
