  3. SYMBOLISM Blue is a non-threatening and confident color. It represents stability , loyalty and trust-worthiness among other traits like security , wisdom and dependability.

  4. EFFECTS • The color is perceived with cooling and calming effect. • Darker shades like Navy blue and Royal blue convey richness and superiority with lighter shades having soothing undertones. • Blue gemstones promote peace . Generally used by people who have difficulty in sleep.

  6. SYMBOLISM • The color symbolizes danger , intensity , love and passion. • As the color of blood and fire , red symbolizes war , heat , bravery , strength and aggression.

  7. EFFECTS • The color is recognised as a stimulant. It evokes strong emotions like excitement , anger , strength. • Attention seeking color. • Red gemstones are used to strengthen the body , promote will power and courage.

  9. SYMBOLISM • It is the color of royalty . Highly symbolic of spirituality , purple is used a lot in religious ceremonies . • It is a color of good judgment.

EFFECTS • Encourages creativity and spirituality. • Deeper shades like plum , mauve etc. are associated with sensuality and enlightenment • Lighter shades like orchid , lavender and lilac are romantic , feminine and delicate. • Violet gemstones are used for purification , imagination and inspiration.
