1. Educational Tips to Help Keep Your Child Learning at Home The closure of schools due to the coronavirus pandemic has put many families in a great dilemma. Kids all over the world are learning from home via online learning, submitting assignments via e-mails, or studying the material sent out by schools. This is a whole new experience for literally every kid in the entire world. It can be a little challenging to convert homes into classrooms. But several steps can be taken to prepare yourself. In this blog, you will come across several tips to prepare your child for online learning at home. 1.Create a Learning Space for Your Child Does your child have a dedicated space to work on their school work? It is important to set up a quiet, clutter-free area if your child is learning from home. Clearing the clutter helps your child to be able to focus. 2.Create a Routine It is natural for humans to not follow a particular schedule when they do not have anywhere to go. With no school bell to start off the school day, children may sleep in. With no set routine, children might not even get around to schoolwork. Making time to learn requires planning. Go through your family schedule and decide the best times for learning. Here are some questions to help you and your child create out a schedule:

2. ●Do you think that your child needs a lot of help from your end to get started? If yes, think about when you are available to help. If you cannot make time, you can always hire a governess who will help your child with their school work. ●Does your child go to middle school or high school? Then later in the afternoon and early evening are the times when your child is most attentive and ready to learn. ●Have you also included time for exercise in your child’s schedule? Going out and taking a break really helps children stay attentive and be more efficient. Once you figure out when the best time for your child to study, decide that time as school time and stick to it. 3.Reduce Distractions Video games, television, pets, social media, toys, etc. there are tons of distractions in a home. Create a list of the things that distracts your child and find a way to reduce or limit them during school time. 4.Use a Color-Coded Calendar It is important to set up systems to help your child excel in academics. Maintaining a calendar will help you stay organized. Put up a calendar and mark it with deadlines. Help your child plan backwards from the due dates of assignments. You can also use visual organizers to divide an assignment into steps and the strategies needed to finish it.

3. 5.Get Exercise Exercise helps kids think better. When the body moves, their attention and problem- solving skills improve. Physical activity is a natural way to combat stress and avoid anxiety. Experts claim that when we move and our heart rate increases, it has a positive influence on how we think. Don’t forget to schedule time for exercise in your child’s schedule. 6.Look For Ways to Eliminate Learning Barriers If learning is challenging for your child, it is important for you to review the online as well as other learning material the school sends you.
