  3. The planet began as a lifeless sphere covered in molten rock. It contained no water and was surrounded by hydrogen and methane gas. 4.6 Billion years ago the earth formed What are hydrogen and methane? Solids Liquids Gasses

  4. The moon was formed • Scientist believe the moon was once part of the Earth, but an asteroid hit earth and broke off a piece forming the moon. 4.5 billion years ago What is the moon made of? Cheese Rock Gas

  5. Bacteria arose on Earth • Normally we think negatively of bacteria, but these bacteria help put oxygen into the atmosphere! 3.8 billion years ago Which of these are caused by bacteria? Tooth Decay Oxygen Both
