  1. AKA THE KING OF POP! Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer-songwriter, actor, and businessman. Called the King of Pop, his contributions to music, dance, and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades. He began his solo career in 1971 and in the early 1980s, Michael Jackson became a dominant figure in popular music. He is the 8th child from the Jackson family and he was in the musical scene with his brothers as a member of Jackson 5 in 1968. Michael Jackson!! I think Michael Jackson is a hero because he suffered from 2 diseases but still insisted on performing. His music inspired people to be happy and to be yourself no matter what anyone says. Jackson had a troubled relationship with his father, Joe. In 2003, Joe acknowledged that he regularly whipped Jackson as a boy. Joe was also said to have verbally abused his son, saying that he had a "fat nose" on numerous occasions. Jackson stated that he was physically and emotionally abused during incessant rehearsals, though he also credited his father's strict discipline with playing a large role in his success. Michael suffered from two fatal diseases called ‘vitiligo’ and the other is ‘lupus’.
