  6. What Happened? • Plates Colliding • Causes Friction

  7. Pangaea • Pangaea-what Earth’s land was like • India’s plate drifted north with the Pakistani Plate

  8. Tectonic Plates • Tension builds between these two plates causing friction • This is what causes the Himalayas

  9. A destroyed City • As The plates collide, Tension increases causing these earthquakes
