  1. Team Name Project logo here Tagline or Descriptive Subtitle • Here are some guidelines to follow when creating your poster: • Use pictures more than words! • Use bullets instead of paragraphs when you can, and remember that bullets don’t have to contain complete sentences • Keep your audience in mind when deciding the level of detail & terminology • Think of your poster as a prop to help you describe the project, not as a stand-alone presentation for people to read • Make sure your objective and main points are clear even from a quick glance • Split your information into logical and well-ordered sections • If you’re making a poster for a lab project, keep these colors and styles. If it’s for a class or competition project, you have a bit more leeway. • Resize the text if you have to make it fit better, but don’t make it smaller than 24pt • Make sure everything is properly aligned • Make sure you don’t enlarge your pictures to the point where they become blurry or pixely (preview at 100%) • Keep the aspect ratio when resizing images (hold down shift while dragging) • Be mindful of the text within an image and zoom in if necessary • Make use of annotations in images, such as labels, circles, etc. • Role: Designing interfaces using location aware APIs for effective visualization of location based information. • WhereAmI Location Service determines the user's current location inside Georgia Tech • Users can track their friends by subscribing to the service • Context aware location information presented to the user • Interaction made possible by widgets and other web services • Context aware location information presented to the user Context aware location information presented to the user Some More Guidelines Poster Guidelines Filler Text Image Tips Team member1 (xyz@gatech.edu), team member2 (xyz@gatech.edu),… cic.gatech.edu
