  1. Team Name:

  2. Table of Contents • Introduction: Team Profile • Objectives of the Solution • Target Consumer Profiling • Solution Concept • System Configuration • Innovation • Cost including scalability

  3. Introduction: Team Profile • Team name, Brief bio of the Members, Sponsors/backers of the team in terms of technical mentoring and/or financial support

  4. Objectives of the Solution • After interpreting the Solar Challenge, what are the objectives of the proposed solution, and how will it be customised to meet Indian requirements on the parameters of: Affordability, space requirement and DIY/installation convenience [brief description]

  5. Target Consumer Profiling • Consumer analysis of the typical Indian user, and insights on how the system would be used. A thorough examination of the entire chain of human interactions with the system, from purchase/transportation/unpacking to installation to human interactions with the system over a 1 year period should be presented. This would include factors including safety, replace-ability, maintenance, apart from the DIY ease of assembly and installation. Good to have points would be: • Human Interfaces • Use case scenarios

  6. Solution concept • Broad level explanation • * - Use as many slides as required. However, the duration of the entire presentation should be less than 30 minutes

  7. System configuration • Architecture, components, modules/technology, structures/materials used, feasibility, system views (3-D Isometric, testability, interfaces), space requirements, robustness and other relevant points. Good to have points would be: • i. Electrical and electronic factors • ii. Design factors • iii. Mechanical factors • iv. Generation – Solar/PV • v. Overall Size of the system • vi. Battery Management System • Smart Metering System • * - Use as many slides as required. However, the duration of the entire presentation should be less than 30 minutes

  8. Innovation • Overall and specific to modules • Summary of the innovation that the team plans to develop/introduce in various parts of the systems

  9. Cost including scalability • What is the cost of a single system as a prototype and when mass produced; how effectively can it be turned into a business and what is the business model? By when will you attain complete product readiness and what would be the time to market? How can it be scaled up? [Good to have]
