  3. Southeast Alaska • Geography- There are islands and coves • Climate- heavy rain fall, summers are warm and winters are mild. • Southeast is heavily populated. About 58,308 people • Economy and Industry- Most of Southeast Alaska are governmental and are manufactures of timber.

South West Alaska Geography- mostly consists of unknown terrain much of the region is coastal, thousands of miles of forests, swamps, highlands, mountains, and volcanoes.Climate and Population- Mostly Rainy but winters are warm and the winters are cool.
