Pubcookie Update • Version 3.1.1 ready for bundling and release • Local login server upgrade to 3.1 scheduled for 6pm, Tuesday, July 27th, 2004 • Version 3.2.0 deliverables • Guest-user login • Per-target login messages/logos • “POSTcookie” (integrated POST messaging) • Better interaction with Windows cert store • Better 3-tier credential delegation (joint work?) • Ryan Campbell departs end of August • ITI-CP “cleared to provide for-fee consulting” for things like hands-on Pubcookie installations

Shibboleth • Psuedo-production status as an Origin, aka Identity Provider (IdP) or Credential Provider • Running Shibboleth version 1.2 • UW Attribute Authority getting attribute data from author.u LDAP • We’re 0 for 2 trying to woo vendors; CFD is next • Invited to participate in “phase one” of Internet2’s InCommon federation • Next steps: production service, climb Mt. Policy

  4. Institutional Groups Project • A project to shore-up the current groups-related services offered by author.u • Catalyst, Shibboleth IdP, mod_uwa are the most immediate stakeholders • Kickoff meeting is tomorrow • Mixed deliverables: documents, decisions, and maybe a migration to EDS • Core Team: Nathan, Jim Fox, Zephyr, RL Bob, Brad; with some designees as needed
