  1. Kevin Holt Sub in 4th Grade A Performance review by the students

What did Dr. Holt do well? • He took attendance, even asking us each a question about who we are. • He was personally interested in each of us. • He played tetherball and four-square with us. • He was nice and funny. • Dr. Holt tried to follow our daily routine. • He asked us challenging questions at the end of the day in order to be excused. • He read us Martin’s Big Words and let us lay down on the floor to listen. • He talked in a funny voice. • He took a joke well.

Areas of Improvement • Attendance should take less than 30 minutes-more like 2 minutes, maybe 5 since you’re a sub. • Do not distract the students when they are working with your funny jokes. • Move faster through Number of the Day-it takes Ms. Rosenthal 5-10 minutes and Dr. Holt took about 30 minutes- “It seemed like an hour.” • He was easily distracted. • Subs stay all day-no crime fighting during the day.
