  2. Paper 1A • 1 hour (47/200) • 3 texts • Held on 10/6 at 8:30-9:30 • Theme closely related to Paper 1B • Spend the 45 minutes to revise the vocabulary

  3. Paper 1B (Task 1) • 1 hour 30 min (48/200= 24 + 24) • Task 1 and Task 2 • Task 1 • 30 min. for short writing task (100 words) • Compulsory • Includes proofreading • Writing a draft is important • Can you recall any interesting vocab. E.g. adjectives from the reading texts? • Supplementary paper will be given upon request

  4. Paper 1B (Task 2) • 1 hour • A choice of two questions: formal / informal writing • Write your name • Circle the question A/B • Writing a draft is important • Can you recall any interesting vocab. E.g. adjectives from the reading texts? • Supplementary paper will be given upon request

  5. Paper 2 • 70/200 • Theme will not be related to reading texts. • Writing component: 1 hour • Article writing + • Revise units 5,6 • Formal letter of request • report

  6. Paper 3 • Total (35/200) • SBA (individual presentation);Total: 24 • Individual response after SBA; Total: 24 • Marks of both exam will be averaged

SBA • Examination date: 19/6 • Question for preparation will be given on 18/6 after Maths Exam. • 1 Cue card: 4in X 6in • Speech: at least 2 minutes • Waiting room: film show (no waiting room supervisor) • Will be videotaped • Need to authenticate the assessment record form • May have moderation of marks

  8. Individual Response • 1 question will be asked after the presentation • No videotaping • No preparation time will be given • Assessment record form need not be signed • No moderation of marks
