In Matthew 5:21-26, Jesus emphasizes the importance of reconciling with others and pursuing peace. It begins with addressing anger and the serious nature of insults, reminding us that harboring negative feelings can lead to judgment. He calls us to seek relationships and harmony proactively, even going so far as to prioritize reconciliation before worship. Reflect on what it means for you to pursue peace in your life. Consider who you need to reach out to, and share with others to encourage accountability in this pursuit.
