  2. What is it? • The I love you virus is a love letter E-mail.

  3. Who Is The Creator? • The creator of the I Love You virus is Onel De Guzman of the Philippines. • He was arrested with the co-conspirator, Reomel Ramones. • The two were released when the authorities realized there were no laws in the Philippines against writing malware. • De Guzman had been forced to drop out of a University because a proposal for commercializing a password-stealing Trojan horse, was banned by the faculty.

  4. What Does It Do? • It is a E-mail disguised as a love letter that comes with an attachment. Once the attachment is open it will be sent to everything on your hard drive.

  5. What's the worsts its done? • It shut down an estimated amount of 45 Million users in a single day. • In a five hour period it went to Asia, Europe, & the United States.

  6. How can you can be protected by this bug.. Protection from bug.. • Click your start button • Click on Settings • Click on Control Panel • Double-Click on the Add/Remove Programs icon • Click on the Windows Setup tab • Click on Accessories to obtain the details • Uncheck Windows Scripting Host if it is checked • Click "ok" to save any changes
