  1. Passing By Luke 10:25-37

  2. The places we avoid are probably the places Jesus would steer straight toward. • What’s laying on the side of the road before us is every bit as important as what is waiting at the end of the road for us. • Need is a no-passing zone; no passing by, no passing the buck, no placing blame. • It takes lots of money to be a Good Samaritan.

  3. “Some wish to live within the sound of a chapel bell; I wish to run a rescue mission within a yard of hell.” • C.T. Studd

  4. If you think you are too important to help someone in need, you are only fooling yourself. You are really a nobody. • Galatians 6:3 NLT • Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived. • Galatians 6:3The Message

  5. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. • 1 John 3:17-18 NIV
