October 20, 2014 Mrs. Luckino’s Classroom News 10/28- Religion Unit 2 test 11/3- Phonics quiz on consonant digraphs and base word endings 11/4 spelling test Sight words: before, eye, few, happy, high, my, open, people, starts, yellow Phonics- This week we are studying ending consonant digraphs –th, sh, wh, ch, tch, ph- and base word endings such as adding –s, -ed, and –ing to the end of words. Religion- We are learning how Jesus forgives us. This week we will begin to learn the Act of Contrition Social Studies- Our unit begins by learning about the different land forms and bodies of water on earth. English- We are learning about nouns and the plural form of nouns. Check out the website for IXL skills we have covered! Science- This chapter we will learn how animals adapt to their environment! October 30- Report cards go home October 31- Classroom parties Nov. 1- All Saints Day Nov. 7- Veteran’s Day program
