  2. The Risk/Resilience Lab About Us: Ours is a multidisciplinary lab which focuses on person-environment exchanges in the context of life stress. We examine the processes that render individuals at risk to stress, and resilient in the face of it.

  3. The Risk/Resilience Lab About Us: We draw from various theories, including: Interpersonal Theory: Stress, risk, and resilience processes occur in relationships. Action Theory: Individuals actively shape the very interpersonal conditions that impact on their well being. Human Ecology: This active effect is always embedded in individauls’ cultural and socio-economic background

  4. The Risk/Resilience Lab About Us: We draw from the following disciplines: Psychology (In particular developmental, social, personality, community and clinical psychology). Medical Sociology and anthropology Epidemiology and public health

  5. The Risk/Resilience Lab About Us: We rely on the following methodologies: Observational, prospective, and longitudinal designs Multivariate statistical procedures (e.g., SEM, HLM, Time Series). Qualitative methods and data analyses (e.g., Focus groups, open-ended interviews).
