  2. About the Teacher My name is Ms. Kelsea Clark and I graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale in the Spring of 2014, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I chose to be a teacher because of my love of learning, love of children, and the desire to make their lives better. I am responsible for making this Kindergarten classroom safe, healthy, and fun for your children. It is my goal to succeed in that.

  3. Classroom Behavior • Good Classroom Behavior • Keep your hands and feet to yourself. • Raise your hand before speaking. • Do not talk when others are talking. • Treat others how you wish to be treated. • Do your own work. • Ask for help if you need it!

Daily Schedule 8:00-8:45- Morning Journal 8:45-9:30- Story Carpet 9:30-10:15- English Lesson 10:15-10:45- Art or Music 10:45-11:00- Bathroom Break 11:00- 12:45- Lunch and Recess 1:00-1:30- Math Lesson 1:30-2:00- Free Centers 2:00- 2:45- Science or Social Studies Lesson 2:45-3:10- Snack Time 3:10- 3:15- Pack Bags for Home

  7. Homework and Grading Kindergarten has homework on Mondays and Wednesdays! Grading Scale 90-100 (M) Mastered 80-89 (S) Satisfactory 70-79 (N) Needs Attention Below 70 (U) Below Grade Level

  8. Volunteers and Support Kindergarten is always needing parental volunteers for snack time, field trips, and holiday parties. Contact me if you are willing to help!
