  2. Activity 4: Interviews and auditions Learning intention • I will know the skills and qualities required for each production role and how to demonstrate these at an audition/interview. Success criteria • I will perform confidently at an audition or interview to demonstrate my skills and qualities for a production role.

Activity 4: Interviews and auditions A Judging or Interview Panel When applications have been submitted, interviews and auditions will take place to decide who are the best candidates for each of the production roles. Apart from Director, there can be more than one person appointed to a role (eg, 2 camera operators, 6 actors, 3 runners)

The judges should read the application forms before the interviews or auditions take place. Those applying for performance roles should prepare a reading, or a song or a dance for the audition.
