  2. Pendragon: Setting • The setting of the story is an in a planet called Denduron and on earth. When bobby travels between the two places he travels through time and space. So by the time he’s back at earth the events have already happened. Denduron is the past and earth is the present. • The book would have changed a lot if the setting changed. For example, if the story happened on earth, then the story wouldn’t make sense and there wouldn’t be people to save.

  3. Pendragon: Characters • Saint Dane/Mallos Mental: • Arrogant: He is extremely proud that he is a close advisory of Queen Kagan. • Deceitful: He persuades the Queen into treating the Milago very badly. • Malicious: He wants to cause the Milago pain. • Physical: • Blond • Striking Blue eyes • Very tall • Bobby Pendragon Mental: • Clever: Finds ways to get out of bad situations. • Compassionate: He feels bad for the Milago. • Determined: He has a strong will to save the Milago. • Physical: • Has thick brown hair • Short for his age • Rich brown eyes

  4. Pendragon: Conflict • The main conflict is man vs. society. All of the milago people are trying to fight against Saint Dane with tak and defeat him so they won’t have to be the bedoowans slaves. On the contrary, the bedoowans still want the milago to do their work so they fight back.

  5. Pendragon: Summary of Plot • Summary: Uncle press visits Bobby and asks him if he can help him save the people of the planet Denduron, the Milago. Bobby goes with him and travels through time and space. Uncle Press gets captured and he finds some allies and saves Uncle Press. Together as a team they all try to help the milago win the battle they fight against the rich Bedoowans who are lazy and treat the milago badly. As all this happens, Bobby writes journals and sends them to his friends on earth to let them know what's going on. Mysteriously, Bobby’s family records are gone and the only people who noticed he’s gone are the people who know him.

  6. Pendragon: Theme • The theme was that sometimes you have to make sacrifices in life to help others. • The three pieces of evidence I chose were: • Bobby had to give up his earth life for the Milago. • Osa gave up her life for Bobby. • Mark and Courtney went to the abandoned train station and almost got eaten by Quigs just to get Bobby the supplies.

  7. Pendragon: Point of View • The point of view varies throughout the book. • In most of the book its Bobby’s journals that tell most of the story. This part of the story is first person. It would have been different because, the story’s would have changed. Also, the story sounds better when it’s the main character telling the story. • In some parts, its about his friends getting his journals through a portal and them reading it. They try to help him when they find out the situation he’s in. This part of the story is third person omniscient. The narrator can read the minds of all the characters. If the point of view changed, then the story would change because, then you could only what one person was thinking and that would be weird since none of the characters are the main character.

  8. Pendragon: Symbolism For a visual I chose the cross, because it is a famous symbol of sacrifice. Throughout the story you can see sacrifice by many characters.

  9. Recommendation • I would only recommend this book to people who like science fiction or fantasy. Also, it’s very reflective on Bobby’s part. Sometimes, it gets pretty confusing because the characters are in different planets and time periods. There is a lot of action for those who like action packed stories. There is also a bit of humor and romance. In my opinion the book was acceptable.
