  3. Bengal Tigers&Ecological Dimensions Humans have caused this beautiful specie to become near extinct. This is due to the clearing of land for settlement. It is also a result of poaching for profit. Farmers are killing them because they are pests.

  4. SpatialDimension The Bengal Tiger’s Habitat The Bengal tiger is mostly found across the India subcontinent. The types of environment which where they live is mentioned in points below: Grasslands Scrub forests Rainforests Wet and dry deciduous forest Sub-tropical and Tropical forests

  5. Ecological Dimension ‘Humans’ are the main reason of endangering the ‘Bengal Tiger’ and many other animals too. Some of the reasons include: Poaching & Capturing Urbanization and Land Clearance for Farming Farmers regard Animals as Pests and so they Kill them.

  6. Perspectives A lot of thoughts have emerged on the cruelty against the Bengal Tiger. These point of views includes the point of views of: Conservationists Poachers Farmers Government

Perspectives of Conservationists The conservationists point of view are as listed below: Conservationists believe that the extinction of the Bengal Tiger will an imbalance in the ecosystems Without the tiger, tiger prey would increase. There should be no trade of products made from tiger’s body parts.

  8. Perspectives of Poachers The poachers have the following point of view on killing Bengal Tigers: The tiger’s body parts are used for making Chinese medicines The tiger’s skin is used for clothing and decoration. Poachers sells them to the black market alive for selling them as a pet.

  9. Perspectives of Farmers The point of view of the farmers about the killing of Bengal includes the following things: Farmers regard them as a pest as they trample their crops. The tiger harm people and eat domestic animals.

  10. Perspectives of Government On the issue of killing the Bengal tiger the government believes: That the tigers should be protected to Balance the Ecosystem. & The tigers should be protected because it provide income to the local communities through Tourism.

  11. Actions taken by Despite all the words spoken there were some actions performed by people from individual to governmental levels. These actions include the following: The local people stopped buying products made from animals skin, tusks etc. Conservationist has performed a major role in conserving and breeding the animals. The government banned poaching. If someone breaches the law; heavy fines apply.

  12. The Future of the Bengal Tiger The Future of the Bengal Tigers is still unsure but along with the all conservationists it is believed that if poaching and killing of animals stops; they are going to be out of danger.
