They all have a vulnerable sector criminal record check, reference checks, and CPR “C” Health Care Provider/First Aid. Our caregivers are called Health Care Aides or “HCA”s and have experience working with clients of all ages. WHO PAYS FOR YOUR SERVICES? Our clients do. Our services are completely customized to your needs and are not covered by government home care plans. However, many clients may be eligible for coverage through the government home care service called Self Managed Care, Veteran’s Affairs, or private health insurance. We often hear about how expensive private home care is. We will work with you to explore all of your options, and how we can best work within your budget to keep your home care at a rate similar to or lower than what you may pay at an assisted living facility.

3. DO YOU WORK SEPARATELY FROM ALBERTA HEALTH SERVICES HOME CARE? No. We are very knowledgeable about how the government home care program works. We ensure you have as much government provided care in place as is available/wanted and then supplement your extra needs with our customized services. We communicate with Alberta Health Services Home Care Nurses to provide you with better, more collaborative health care as a team. WHERE DO YOU PROVIDE YOUR SERVICES? Home Care Assistance Red Deer, Most of our clients receive care in their own home. We also provide additional care to clients in Hospitals, Long Term Care or Supportive Living facilities, and Adult Day Care programs.
