Why Develop Large Fun Regatta, HMR • To entice maximum number of boats to leave confines of their harbor • Introduce sailors to the beauty of sailing off shore during October full moon • Safety in off shore sailing in a large fleet • Learn and practice navigation and safety skills through rigs and ship traffic • Raise funds for charity in a Sail-A-Thon • USE OUR BOATS!
