This study presents the analysis of five STS float data sets to measure rain rates acoustically. The focus is on leveraging these acoustic measurements to gain insights into rainfall patterns. The next step involves summarizing global rainfall accumulation by utilizing all 44 available STS/PAL float data sets and comparing findings to established rainfall climatology. This research aims to enhance understanding of rainfall dynamics over ocean regions.
