  2. Topic of Focus: Midyear Benchmark for Kindergarten Nonsense Word Fluency and First, Second and Third Grade Oral Reading Fluency • Enrollment: • Kindergarten: 22 First Grade: 16 Second Grade: 17 Third Grade: 22

  3. Action Plan/Steps • Grade level SMART goals are focused on Oral Reading and Nonsense Word Fluency. Goals are reviewed and adjusted at data meetings. • Collaborative Classroom has been implemented with integrity. • Walk to Enrichment (Above and Beyond Support) focuses on standards not mastered. • K-2 teachers are using the Multicomponent Letter Naming Lesson Framework, SIPPS, and West Virginia Phonics in Tier II small group instruction. • SPIRE instruction is provided in Tier III small groups. • Teachers progress monitor with DIBELS. • Accelerated Reader has been implemented with accuracy and point goals. • Conferencing with each student about their independent reading occurs weekly. • Students are using data notebooks in grades 2 and 3 to track their progress and lead their own learning. • Curriculum and Reading specialists provide support via the coaching cycle, side-by-side teaching, job embedded professional development and coordinating peer-to-peer observations. Monitoring Plan: Review of whole group and small group lesson plans weekly, Walkthroughs with intentional focus on tiered instruction, classroom observations, data meetings and conversations with teachers
