About Us • Anchor Dance Studio is one of the Best Dance Academies in Oradell, North Jersey. • Since 1978, we have been teaching several forms of ballroom dances, classical dance forms, Latin etc. • At Anchor Dance Studio, we offer professional level Dance training for our students to learn the dance forms of their interest and polish their dancing skills.

Samba- American Rhythm • Samba is one of the most popular forms of music in Brazil.  • Ballroom Samba is a very sexy dance, using the repetitive rhythm counts of 1&2, 1&2.  • It is one of the few Latin dances that is danced in a vertical movement. • It is a partner dance and it is one of the most popular Dance form of American Rhythm.

  6. Swing- American Smooth • Swing dance generally refers to the style of Jazz Music and mostly performed in couples. • There are three kinds of Swing. The basis of the Single Swing dance is “Step, Step, Rock Step”. • The rock step is always taken on a major beat of the music. • In this form of dance, the dance steps are combined with some aerials, jumps and throws between the partners.

Our Dance Instructors • Our staff is highly trained, professional level dance teachers and are also full-time dance teachers. • We hire our dance instructors by conducting pre- hire dance classes to evaluate their dancing skills and abilities. • Our Advanced-level instructors are professional in Classical Dance, theater and stage dance forms who will supervise and monitor our dance classes and dance experts.

Our Services • Our facility features two spacious and fully equipped ballroom dance floors. • Floor-length mirrors, music collections from every era, and professional dance teachers help you to learn and build up your dancing skills. • We also offer 30 minutes complimentary Dance Introduction classes to give some outer look on the dance forms which they choose. • We also offer personalized choreography to make your first dance as a married couple, father-daughter, mother-son memorable, and also facilitate our dancers to entertain the guests at the party.
