Monday EC Meeting- Orlando • 2 Tutorials this session- One on 802.1Q and the other on • Bruce Kraemer to run for SA President 2015-2016 • Bob Grow will become the new RAC chair • A restructuring of the OUI will be brought to the BoG this coming May to extend the availability of 48bit MAC addresses through a more rational allocation plan • Paul introduced Meng Zhong our newest China Office member • Paul to hold an “open” office hours from 6pm -730pm Monday in the Governors Boardroom • EC meetings for the week posted on the board Robert F.   3. Monday EC Meeting- Orlando • Max Riegal presented an OmniRAN update (omniran-13-0015-00). Some strong feelings/disagreement among EC members on what the mission/scope of the SG is and potential overlap with 802.1 and IETF. • A number of Rules changes in the works--of particular note- how often the 5C gets reviewed and how compatibility is address in the 5C • ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 -activity focused in a new direction-namely the submission of 802 standards into ISO/IEC using the PSTO process. There will be 3 meetings this week to discuss/review activities • Held joint meeting with IETF leadership last Saturday. Developed/discussed a list of shared work items and items for coordination. Also discussed how to improve early visibility to new work items. Setting up a bi-monthly (initially) coordination call schedule to keep the dialog going. Robert F. Heile, ZigBee Alliance

Monday EC Meeting- Orlando • Update on future venues-moved March 2014 and March 2016 to Jan 2015 and Jan 2016 to create openings for NNA Non US meetings. • Singapore no longer an option for March 2015. • Working in China World Hotel Beijing for March 2014 • Reviewed Geneva- will be a different kind of session. Hotels should be booked early. Only ITU building is available for evening meetings. Photo ID badges will need to be issued so that will be an added complexity. No social and F&B all on your own.   5. Monday EC Meeting- Orlando • Treasurers report-operating reserve ~$1.1m • University Outreach Program- had one registration-getting the word out is an issue. Paul is proposing that something needs to change. Ideas will be brought forward by David Law • Get802 program- 62m downloads to date. • Check Board for current schedule of EC meetings for this week • EC closing meeting 1300-1800 Friday afternoon Robert F.
