  2. 1. This tutorial begins at http://library.cpit.ac.nz/ or Google CPIT Library and choose the first link.

  3. 2. In Primo Library Search enter your search terms e.g. 3. Press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard or click on GO to activate search. 4. Select the Detailstab for more information on the title. 5. Not available means this title is currently on loan

  4. 6. To request an item you will need to sign in. 8. Navigate to the top right to Sign in. 9. Use your CPIT username and password. 10. Select Request

  5. 11. If you are a distance student Select pickup location : Off Campus (we will post your item to you) 12.If you are in Christchurch Select pickup location : City Campus Library (you will receive an email when it is ready to collect from the Library Service Desk) 13. Then select Hold

  6. 14. A message pops up confirming your request. 15. To cancel your request select My account in the top right corner. 16. Select Requests in the left column. 17. Under Action you can click cancel to remove your request. 18. Remember to sign out in top right corner when you are finished.
