  5. Customizing the Placement Form All fields commonly required, EXCEPT: Address Line 2 Common Permission Changes Common Fields to Add: Supervisor’s Title, Hiring Contact

  6. Optional: Co-op/Intern Placements • Available Co-op/Intern section in Placement Form • Can be customized to fit your needs/process • Also available: Co-op/Intern Module which allows for an entirely different form

  10. Encouraging Use of Placements • Encouraging Students: • Memos/Announcements on the Home Page • Mass Email to graduating seniors

  11. Encouraging Use of Placements • Encouraging Employers: • Add Report a Hire instructions to the Job Expiring automatic email • Memos/Announcements on the Home Page • Mass Email to employers who have jobs that expired/were closed recently

Collecting Placement Data • Surveys • Can be included in a mass email to students or employers who have participated in on-campus interviews • Add incentive for completing the survey (i.e. prize) • Work with Alumni Office • Use their information to manually enter placements • Paper Forms • Add a note about Report a Hire option at the top • Make available in your office • Hand out at senior level events

Placement Reports • Tools > Reports > New Report  Select the report type of Placement • Common Fields: Student Name, Org Name, Job Title, Wage/Salary, Position Type, Start Date, Source • Typical Criteria: Created Date Range, Position Type, Student Major, Student Grad Date • Make sure to save your report for next semester!
