CKOV Update. CKOVa/b hardware completed at IIT/Iowa/Mississippi by Sept. CKOVa stored at RAL-R12 for Cosmic test. Aerogel compartments and front window refit after excessive bowing of front window realized. Aerogel will be loaded in to CKOVa/b in early November for cosmic test.

CKOV Update • CKOVa/b hardware completed at IIT/Iowa/Mississippi by Sept. • CKOVa stored at RAL-R12 for Cosmic test. • Aerogel compartments and front window refit after excessive bowing of front window realized. • Aerogel will be loaded in to CKOVa/b in early November for cosmic test. • CKOVb in Mississippi undergoing tests and fitting of reflector panels (page-3). • Mirror production at Fermilab interrupted. Reflector panels will be used at MICE start-up (Jan '08). Performance is good with cosmic data (page-2). • High rate bases performing wll to ~3.5 Mhz • Sanders and Cremaldi to RAL Nov 10-17 to install aerogel and set up at R12. • CKOVa will sit on ground floor at R12 (White Room). • 4 Channels discriminator + HV + ADC(??) available. • TOF0/CKOV stand being prepared by Oxford WL. • CKOVb shipped to RAL in early Nov for Jan'08 installation.
