  2. FEELINGS • How are you? • Heard that Jeff is happy to get a job. • But Mike is angry. • Is that true? • Whose idea to apply at Sears? • Yours? • Your Uncle or Aunt works at Sears? • Who hurt your feelings? • Your mom? Dad? Sister?

  3. Am curious. Where were you born? • Is that in the city? • Is that where you grew up? • Is your house big or small? • How many rooms? • Your brothers or sisters go Palmer? • In the future, do you want to live in the city or country?

  4. The weather is nice today! • Think it will rain or snow? • Think this weekend will be sunny?

  5. What grade are you in? • What school do you go to?

  6. This weekend will be a long break from school. • What are your plans?

  7. You hungry? • Or starving? • What about you? • What do you feel like eating for lunch? • I plan to get a hamburger. • What about you? • What is your favorite food? Pizza? Lasagna? Hot Dog? Burrito? Spegatti?

  8. Who should we invite to come with us for lunch? If we order pizza, then maybe just 3 of us. Why not invite _ _ _ _ _? Want to walk? Lets take my car to the restaurant. But I need to go to the bathroom first. Wait for me. Okay?

  9. The battery in my car is Dead. • Can you help me? • Do you know how to jump start it? • Be careful, don’t get your jacket dirty! • Don’t get hurt. • Thank you for your help!

  10. When school is over, I need to go shopping. • Do you know of a clothing store that sells belts? • Is it the same store that sells blue pants with plaid shirts? • That store does not allow backpacks. • You have to put your backpack in the basket. • That store accepts cash only.

  11. Have you worked with a Deaf or HH student before? • Does he/she uses hearing aids or cochlear implants? • Do they know sign language? • Do you know sign language?

  12. Gossip and News • Did you hear that Brad got married? • His wife already has 4 children. • 2 boys and 2 girls. • The kids are 8, 11, 14, and 16. • Yes, his wife, Lisa, is divorced. • They rented an apartment. • Brad is working at a clothing store. • Lisa works for the school.
