Purpose • Identify the most prevalent risk management issues and suggest methods that have proven successful • Note: we aren’t addressing the most common risks per se, but rather methodologies to effectively deal with risks • Using common risks as examples is, of course, a means to examine risk management techniques

  3. Format In view of current government restrictions, the workshop plan is as follows: • One-day workshop • Industry facility in Washington DC area • No registration fee: minimal “refreshments”, lunch on own • Time frame June 2013

  4. Details • Workshop will be held at General Dynamics, Maritime Plaza (your present location) • Dates still being finalized– Target is Tuesday June 11 • Tentatively on hold by GD for us • Will have draft write-up announcement by next week • Purpose • Workshop Conduct • Output • We need a mix of government and industry to make this work • Government side: program office personnel, engineering personnel
