Evidence? God took the man and put him in the garden to till it and to keep it. Gen 2:15 3. God expects man and woman to obey His rules. Evidence? “of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat” Gen 2:16 4. Man and woman were made for each other Evidence? The man said “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh” Write out the message Genesis 2 is teaching us. Match it up to the evidence. Explain 2 of the messages Gen 2 teaches us with PEE, using the evidence you matched from Q1 and explaining it. **Can something be true, even if it can’t be proved by science ?

  5. Man is special. He has been made on purpose. He is not an accident QUOTE: God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Gen 2:6 Explanations God takes the trouble to make humans and personally breathes into their nostril life, in a very intimate way, which shows God cares for us personally. 2. God gave man responsibility to care for the earth. QUOTE: God took the man and put him in the garden to till it and to keep it. Gen 2:15 The specific task that God gave man was to look after the creation he had made and make it produce fruit. 3. God expects man and woman to obey His rules. QUOTE: “of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat” Gen 2:16 God gave a very specific rule to man, expecting that man would carry out his responsibility in the way God had decided. 4. Man and woman were made for each other. QUOTE: God took the rib and made it into a woman and brought her to man. The man said “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh” God made man and woman intimately part of each other and gave them to each other. Adam recognised this when he exclaimed that Eve was at last someone who could be a mate for him. Check your evidence and explanations. Correct your answers. **Which of these “truths” might be important for someone to know for their life? Why?
