This science fair project explores the effects of height on water evaporation rates. The main question is whether water in a higher position will evaporate faster than water in a lower position. The hypothesis suggests that the higher water will evaporate more quickly. The experiment involves placing two cups of water at different heights, ensuring both are exposed to sunlight on black paper. Observations confirmed the hypothesis, revealing that the higher cup evaporated faster. This project illustrates the relationship between height and evaporation.

Big Question • My big Q is which water will evaporate faster the water that the water that is higher or the one that is lower
Hypothesis • My hypothesis is the one that is higher will evaporate faster then the other one
Interesting facts • #1 you are able to drink water • #2 another name for water is H2O • #3 the sun is very hot • #4 if you take a peace of the sun like a marble you cant go near 60 miles of it • #5you can not look at the sun in the space you will go blind
experiment • Step by step First you fill two cups water and put one higher then then the other like 15 feet. then put black paper under each cup and they need to be facing the sun at all time • Materials • #1. 2 cups • #2. 2 black papers • #3. 1 ladder • #4. 1 roof
Observation • That the cup that was higher evaporated faster then the other lower one because the higher it is to the sun the faster it evaporate
conclusion • My hypothesis was right the higher it is the faster it will evaporate
