The MUSKET Tool Consists of 2 main tools: Transform Tool Semantic Tool To find the % similarity between module description documents To convert Word documents into XCRI format
Transform Tool - Word Conversion XCRI File Univ of Cardiff Word Documents
Why have Transformation tool? • Not all institutions are ready to submit their course information database for mapping to XCRI. • Not all institutions have a course database, e.g companies having in-house training courses have their descriptions in word documents • Time consuming to carry out the repetitive task of converting each module document into XCRI
