  2. What is Anemia ? www.Healthylife.WeRIndia.com When the red blood cells (RBC) count decreases below normal for your child’s age, in medical terms it is known as anemia. Your child may become anemic if his or her body: • Does not produce enough red blood cells • Destroys too many red blood cells. • Loses red blood cells through bleeding.
