Washington State University (WSU) Extension plays a vital role as a land-grant institution, integrating teaching, research, and extension to support agriculture and communities across the state. Through strategic partnerships with federal and state agencies, WSU Extension provides vital resources and knowledge to farmers, ranchers, and the public. With 54 offices spanning all 39 counties, the program supports over 70,000 youth annually and engages in diverse areas such as natural resource science, food safety, nutrition, and family development, ensuring practical applications of research on the ground.
